My name is Dr. Funsho King, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a focus on treating mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. throughout the lifespan. My goal as a provider is to provide the care that you deserve. I am a good listener, compassionate, genuine, and empathetic.
I will create a warm environment while I help you meet your mental health needs. It is imperative to understand and anticipate the patients’ needs and meet those needs so that they can function optimally. I know one size does not fit all in psychiatry. A person-centered approach is key to meeting the needs of each individual to improve the quality of life.
I believe in a holistic approach treatment that promotes health and improves lives so patients can function optimally. I will continue to advocate for patients and provide care with a focus on patients’ autonomy through collaboration and the use of evidence to guide practice, lead change, and measure treatment outcomes.
